Why does the ringer on my iPhone 6 keep turning itself off?

I am very conscious about the sensitivity of my ringer button, so I check it frequently to make sure it is still on. About 4 times a day it is no longer on. Somehow it goes back to silent, so I can't hear when people call, email or test me.

I've seen this happen with the iphone 3 where the switch is weak and is easily moved to silent mode. If you have a new device under warranty then make an appointment at the Apple Store and get it checked
