I want to have all texts forwarded to my email so i can get them on my office computer

Welcome to iMore! Apple has made it difficult to forward texts to our own email accounts. It's tricky. The easiest, quickest way is to copy and paste. Long press the text bubble, tap copy. Go to email and paste it in.
