Erasing Content From iPhone

I just have a simple question about erasing all the contnt fom my iPhone. I'm going to be giving my 3g to a buddy, and had personal information on my phone. I performed "Erase all content and settings" then pluged the phone into iTunes to somewhat activate it. I removed th sim and now I'm wondering if thats all I need to. Is all my media and information completely gone, or can it be recovered by some hack or program?

Yea you should be good to go and the backup is on your computer so it cannot be retrieved.
