I upgraded from a venerable Green iPhone 11 Pro to a Blue iPhone 15 Pro Max.
Congratulations!!!Decided to upgrade my 14 pro to the 15 pro. My battery life has not been the best and i hope it is better on the 15. I only charge it at night. I have had it almost two yrs. Getting the blue. Will arrive Tuesday. I had been thinking about it for awhile and decided to pull the trigger on it.
Congratulations!Just upgraded to a 15 from a SE2 and the wife upgraded to a 15 from an Xr.
Just paid off my iPhone 12 Mini. I really like the smaller form factor, but it doesn’t look like the 13 Mini is even available on my carrier. So I’m looking very closely at a basic iPhone 15.
I’m not a super-heavy user - I’m really quite content with my 12 Mini. I’m still only using just over half of its 64 gb storage, so storage is not an issue. I use my iPad for the tiny bit of gaming I do, most of my browsing and other ‘work’ when I’m away from my Mac. I use the phone connected to a bt speaker for work calls, but that should all be coming to an end in January, if all goes according to plan. I don’t do videos, but I do take a few pics of the wildlife in the back yard. And I do use the phone camera with astronomy software on my telescope, so I do need a decent nighttime camera, which the 12 Mini handles fairly well. I can pull the trigger at any time, and in fact the sooner I do, the sooner the next device will be paid off. So it will most likely be a 15. Unless somebody here can change my mind.
Well, I didn’t wait. Grabbed a 15, paid for it outright, will be sending back my 12 Mini for the trade-in once I’m sure everything is working right.
Strange material on the back of the phone is the first thing I noticed. It looks and feels just like the protective material you peel off the front. Doesn’t look like ‘color infused’ glass at all. Doesn’t matter because it will be in a case by tomorrow, I just found it a bit weird.
Restoring from my old phone was a breeze, even quicker than my last few upgrades. I’m guessing it came loaded with the latest OS, because there was no absurdly lengthy wait in the middle of setup this time. Obviously the phone feels big in the hand compared to the Mini, but I’m sure that will pass in short order. All in all it feels nice to use - glad I didn’t wait.
