Unlock to reset

I have an iPhone 4. When I try to reset any part on my phone it asks for my passcode. When I put it in its a failed attempt yet I am able to use it to get on my phone. What's wrong with my code when I'm using it for something other than getting on to check who's called me!?

I don't know, but maybe this is your excuse to get that shiny new 5C you KNOW you want!

I would recommend going into your Settings/General/Passcode Lock and then disable your passcode then reboot your phone once that's done go back into Settings/General/Passcode and create a new/re-enter the passcode. This should fix the problem.
