Syncing contacts on Outlook Help!!!

I can't seem to get my iPhone 3g to sync with my Outlook contacts. I set up a separate folder and told Itunes to sync to it but no soap. The calendar sync's fine but the phone just seems to on and on forever. Am I just not waiting long enough? I only have one contact in the outlook folder and 4 on my phone. The weird thing is 3 of the 4 iPhone contacts made it into Outlook but the 4th one did not. The one I created in Outlook did not make it on to the phone.

Any ideas where I am screwing up?
