My iPhone5s is no longer connecting to my outgoing message server.

I have gone to Settings but have no idea how to fix this. Messages are just sitting in my Outbox and I get the message that I am not connected to the outgoing server. I can't send pictures or emails as it claims I am not connected to the outgoing server and I don't have the correct password. I have never changed the password for this server.

What mail server do you use? iCloud, Gmail, Hotmail, Yahoo or another?
If you join our forum and let us know, we can help you more detailed with your mail problem.

In the meantime you could try delete your mail account from Settings > Mail, Contact and Calendars and add it back. This helps most of the time with these kind of issues.
