Movie rental questions

Okay if I have an unmatched rented movie can change that to a purchase? Also, if I watched a rental and decide I want to buy it do I have to re-download it.

According to THIS, yes, you can, but you will still have to pay the full price for it.

It is my understanding that after 30 days, the unseen rental will auto-delete, so yes, you would have to re-purchase and re-download it.

I watched the movie and now want to buy it but there is no way to buy it. The buy button now only says watch.

I think I figure that movie out. It is a pre-release rental and not for sale. However I had one I rented that I hadn't watched and now it's gone off my iPad. I still had two weeks to watch it.

Well this didn't work like I thought it would. I watched the rental and then bought it. After the rental expired I now have to download the whole movie again. *Note to self: only buy if there is the slightest chance I will want to keep it, lol.
