Can I get some help with an iPhone mail app problem?

iPhone mail app problem

When I open the iPhone mail app I get a white screen with the normal header and the compose email button on the bottom but nothing else loads. After a few seconds the app closes.

I have tried restarting the phone and letting the battery die completely. Neither of these help. I have the latest IOS update.

Any suggestions?

It's possible that the Mail app has become corrupted and therefore you may need to reinstall the latest iOS version.
