Can I buy icloud storage with itunes giftcard?

hi, I wanna know if I can buy extra storage for icloud using an itunes gift card, reason being is that I dont have a credit card, but would really like to get extra storage for my back ups and whatnot. thanks in advance.

I purchased iTunes Match using a gift card, so you should be able to get additional iCloud storage that way.

There's a difference between what you can purchase with an iTunes gift card and an Apple Store gift card.

If it's something that's on a renewal, they usually require a CC be on file.

Correct. I had to have a CC on file, but I was able to pay for iTunes match with a gift card on the account. It wouldn't let me pay without the CC.
