Calls going straight VM?

Att version. Seems that numbers that are not in my contacts does not ring and goes straight to Vm. Do I have something turned on I shouldn’t?

It could be the “Silence Unknown Callers” feature.

Check in your Settings.app, under Phone, there is a “Silence Unknown Callers” option. It might be on.

That feature automatically transfers calls to voicemail if they’re not coming from your contacts or numbers you recently called.

I have us d this feature, and it sounds like this could be your explanation. I turned it off because I missed a couple of important calls, but the feature does have it’s merits.
