I’ve been using dual sim feature since it came out a few years ago. I wondered about having 2 sims, while one was off, it would work via wifi calling over the other sim’s cellular data.
Example:
SIM 1 turned off (or no signal).
SIM 2 turned on and SIM 1 wifi calling working over SIM 2’s cellular data.
Wel it actually happened today.
I have ATT sim turned on and an Xfinity SIM turned off, and I looked at my phone and saw that the xfinity wifi calling was on via the ATT cellular.
I tested it and it worked.
The question now is, how do I control it.
I restarted my phone and now it’s gone.
