Hello, I am looking for any information on any medical software being added to the iphone... I am aware of the recent development of epocrates for the iphone, but I was wondering if any other software is presently created or in development? Also is anyone aware of compatibility issues in hospitals and their data networks?

There are a few out there...ePocrates (as you have mentioned) that has a free as well as paid version. There's also LexiDrugs, Pepid and Skyscape (all are paid versions). Medscape is new, and free. I don't think there should be any compatibility issues...at least if there are, they're not related to the above apps. Some hospitals don't like cell phones on while you are in the hospital. The place where I work is cellphone friendly.

Medical software on Iphone

Hey!

I was having the same query and my friend suggested Skyscape. I am using their Tabers with images. It is nice indeed. Also I was happy to hear that their products do not require web access. It actually installs to the phone :)
Interface is also gud.. u should definetly give a try...

Skyscape

Hi!! I have been using Skyscape apps on my Blackberry for quite sometime now. And it really works well, easy and compatible. They have some real good offer, you should try visiting there official web site. You should also try the new 5-Minute Clinical Consult application.
