Unable to update to 8.1 from 7.1.2 error 9006

Every time i try to restore and update my device from 7.1.2 to 8.1 it doesn't complete the software download and give me error 9006. I can't fix it and i can't update OTA because i'm jailbroken. Any help please?

Anyway, if you haven't already, you may have to download the .ipsw file and then put your device in DFU mode, direct iTunes to the .ipsw files to update your device.

DFU mode is the trick as D said. That's the best method for updating a jail broken phone on iTunes.
