Why does my sound not work on some apps but works on others

My sound does not work in snapchat, clash of clans and Facebook but only when I click on a link for a video but my sound works on YouTube and in my music I've tried everything

Have you tried deleting the app and then adding it? Are those apps supposed to have sounds?

You can also try a hard reset. Hold both the top power/sleep button and the home button at the same time, until the Apple logo appears, then release.
