Why does my iphone 6 yahoo mail password revert?

I can actually use 2 different passwords for my yahoo mail account. One is on the pc and the other is on my iphone 6. On my iphone 6 I go to settings...mail, contacts, calendars...Yahoo!...Account (my email address)...Account information. Name, Email, Password, Description. In the password section I can delete what's there and add anything aaa, bbb, etc. and I am still able to open my Yahoo mail from this iphone or my pc (which requires correct password). Other mail programs say password incorrect or user name incorrect, etc. when I try to do the same thing. Only Yahoo allows anything! I have tried deleting Yahoo mail from my iphone and then installed it through the Add Account using my correct password. I cannot add the account using Other. Why is this happening? Thank you.
