I have 3 LunaTik cases for my current Apple Watch and it sure would be nice if the new series 2 is identical in size. I don't believe it was mentioned but I did do and take a dump halfway through the watch 2 unveiling. Anyone know?

I saw that. And don't like the response. Just because it looks identical doesn't mean they didn't shave off or add. Hoping a tech site can confirm.

When the Watch series 2 is available you'll be able to walk in an Apple Store and try it out on their display models. That way you will know for 100% sure if it will fit or not. That being said, will it hold you back in buying the Watch series 2 if it doesn't fit?

Nope. I'll be getting one either way. Just would be an awesome surprise if my current accessories work!

Over on The Verge they are saying the Series 2 models (with GPS) are 1mm thicker. Probably not noticeable, but any case from the first watch will not fit, I'm guessing.
