[new iPhone user] Gmail not syncing all contacts on iPhone

Hi, my friend just sold her Samsung S6, and got a 2nd hand iPhone 6S.
She has done the Gmail native mail configuration, and the Gmail app, and some contacts doesn't show on contacts app.
Anyone had this issue before?

Welcome to iMore, make sure Gmail is set up under settings/accounts and passwords and all tabs selected. Also try hard reset phone after setting.
