iPhone 6 plus model number

Hey everyone just wanted to see if anyone else had the same thing happen to them, my original 6 plus had a bad touch it sensor and Verizon sent me out a replacement, only thing is is that the model number is NGVA2LL/A not the standard MGCT2LL/A for my silver 64. I can't find that model number online any where. Just wondering if anyone else has seen a different model number in any replacements they got

I feel that this info on this page is outdated, because people have been reporting N serials with brand new devices (previous gens too). As far as I understand now, the serial numbers won't indicate replacements, new models or, more popularly, "refurbs".

You could very well be right, Sean. What about "model" numbers as mentioned by the OP?
