I delete iMessages from phone but they are still on Macbook

Hi,

I delete my iMessages from my phone, but everytime I go to my MacBook they are still there... even ones from two weeks ago.

I thought if you delete the messages from one iDevice it deletes them from all (under same account). Am I mistaken?

If I am not, what do I need to do in order to enable this?

When you delete messages from a iphone or ipad they would still appear on the mac until you have deleted them yourself that feature of deleting them from one device and they all go is not available as yet fingers crossed in the new os and on the mac they sort that out and where they do disappear

Deletion of Messages do not sync from device to device. Apple probably thinking they need protect the user - as they do with certain things.

I do wish they would put a Preference to enable Sync though. I have emailed Apple with that request a few times - they're not listening to me. LOL
