How can I download my excel spreadsheet in my flash drive USB to iPad Pro?

I want to transfer my excel spreadsheet from my iMAC to my 12.9 iPad Pro. But I see that there is no USB port in the Pro. How do I do this?

I use a program called Infinit to send files between my PC-MacBook Air and iPads, it is available for PC and Mac and iOS, it uses your own wi-fi to move files about within your home, therefore is very safe.

Here are some options.

Send by email
Use a third party cloud service such as OneDrive or DropBox on both the computer and the iPad
Use the iCloud Drive
WiFi enabled flash drive
