I have an iPhone 3G and what really makes me mad is that only the 3Gs and the iPhone 4 have a home wallpaper but my 3G. Is there anyway I can have one and a way that doesn't kill my phone? by the way, I'm waiting for a iPhone 5.

Samantha, what kind of direct link are you looking for? We can point out how to jb, but you'll still have to do it on your own. What device and firmware do you have?

If you're on a version earlier than 4.0.2 you may be able to simply visit jailbreakme.com, otherwise it will mean at least a few steps.

I have 4.2.1 and an iPhone 3G. and i have looked on youtube, I tried one and it didn't work. it kept saying "Try again".

Follow the instructions on HERE if you're on a Mac, or HERE if you're on a PC, and you should be good to go. Just be sure to read it through first and then follow the steps exactly.

will this clear my phone and how do you select the firmware when I don't download that one thing cause my phone isn't unlocked?

Just use the one you need. Not sure what you mean by clear your phone...you'll backup and can restore that info after jailbreaking if that's what you mean.
