Help! My MacBook Won't Shut Down!

Hi,I put in a dvd-r in my MacBook Pro and then it won't come out so i tried to shut it down
it did not succeed in shutting down because it is stuck on a white screen please help
i tried many solutions in the forums and it did not work.
such as holding down the power button,Resetting the System Management Controller (SMC).

Please help
