CNN App: Push notifications

Hey all - first post here.

Does anyone know how to STOP receiving push notifications from the CNN App? It is driving me nuts. I have been searching the app and the website to no avail. I have the Magic Window app which I use nightly the notifications pop up right in the middle of the app so when i wake up at night I see them and it drives me crazy. Any help would be appreciated!

Settings -> Notifications -> CNN -> Move toggles for alerts and sounds to the off position.
