Was on jailbroken 6.1, tried to update to 6.1.2, stuck on iTunes logo

When I first tried to update to 6.1.2 in iTunes (by right-clicking Restore and using iPhone4,1_6.1.2_10B146_Restore), I got a 3194 error.

I added 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com to my hosts file and restarted.

iTunes then instead displayed a 21 error when I tried to update using the same method above - only now my iPhone 4S is stuck showing the "connect to iTunes" display.

Any ideas?

6.1.2 is no longer current and cannot be restored to in iTunes. You have to either stay at 6.1 and be jailbroken or go to 6.1.3 and run stock.

I don't believe the update process to 6.1.2 actually happened, so I think 6.1 is still installed.

I just need to kick it out of this recovery mode.

Any ideas?

The "Fix Recovery" button does nothing on my iPhone 4S in this current situation :(

Also, using the "Recovery fix" button in redsn0w 0.9.15b3 displays "This feature is not supported on the iPhone 4S".

Lesson learned, research before trying to upgrade. Currently no way to restore to anything other than 6.1.3 on A5+ devices.
