please help me! cannot get phone out of DFU Cannot restore 4.2.8

i jsut got a new iphone, i wanted to jailbreak to save my blobs, used Snowbreeeze and i cannot get away from the 3194 error, u deleted all the apple hosts, used tiny umbrella like the tutorial stated, and now i cannot get my phone out of DFU mode that Snowbreeze had me put it in. how can i NOT update to 4.2.10 so i can jailbreak. this is so annoying..

please help me!!

I know you can use tinyumbrella to get out of DFU. not sure about restoring to 4.2.8 since I am on att.

If your device has never had 4.2.8 on it (well, since you got it anyway), you may not be able to get it. You may be stuck waiting for the next untethered JB.
