I went with 64g. The $2.99 iCloud for $200 gigs is a cheaper option than $100 for and extra 64 gigs. You can still see your photos with no data connection although at a lower quality. I'll see how live photo goes and maybe go larger next time but I'm not sure I'll need it.
I currently have an iPhone 6 128gb but i only used 32gb out of that. I've had the phone for a year. So I ordered the 6s+ in 64gb because I don't use that much space as I thought I would. But never will I get a 16gb ever again.
On order day I called T-Mobile and ordered the 64gb 6 Plus,,, then I realized I only had about 35gb left on my Air 2 128gb so I called T-Mobile and changed my order to the 128gb 6 Plus.
I do lots of pictures and videos and I might become addicted to the 4K video the same way I became addicted to the 4K with my Note 4,,,, better safe than sorry.
16 GB would be enough for me.
I used to have a 5S 32 GB and ended up using only 7 haha!
I stored my media on Google Drive, which synced with my phone and my carrier does not count data when used to stream on Spotify, Songza and Apple Music, so no need to store it on my device.
I moved up. My 64gb 6 plus and Note 5 are both close to being full. With the improved camera, 4k video, and 2 active kids I'm constantly taking videos of I went ahead and preordered the 128gb. Better to have too much than not enough.
64Gb is plenty enough for me so i'm moving from a 64Gb gold iPhone 6 to a 64Gb gold iPhone 6s Plus. I still have about 20Gb spare on my iPhone 6 currently, and that's with about 16Gb of music on there too.
I guess I could put more music on there if I had a 128Gb phone but I honestly doubt i'll need it.
I went down, I got the 64gb 6+ last year and have only used 5gb since I have google drive and Dropbox accounts. So I figured 64gb is pointless, I'm more of a streaming person or saving somewhere I can access from more than just my phone. The 16gb 6s+ will be perfect and save me some money...
Im moving up this year to 128GB. The price difference is worth it to me to be able to download more movies and have them on hand. I have kids, so extra movies on standby at all times is a very handy thing.
I'm gonna check those numbers. But that sounds viable.
I did order the 128gb. Gonna sell my iPad Mini3 (64gb). Won't need it if I have a 6s Plus.

Didn't consider moving up to 128GB. I currently have a 64GB 6 Plus. I ordered the 64GB 6s Plus because even though the pic size is supposed to go up with the new camera, I keep all my videos/photos on Dropbox. I don't think I could fill 128GB.
I stayed at 64GB for this 6+S but I'm starting to think with the 4K video I should have went 128
I currently use all but 9.6 GB of my 64 6+
You should be fine with that much free storage but I have the same fear and that is why I am probably going to go for the 128. The "what if" factor is making me think its worth the extra $100. What if I wanna make a short film? haha. If you keep that much space open on your new phone though you'll still have plenty of recording time until you have to dump it onto your computer.
I went for the 128gb. 6s plus. My previous phone was a 5s with 64gb although it was enough I decided that with the better camera I'd be better off going for the 128
I went 128GB with my 6+ and did the same with the 6S+ as well, and now looking at the model is discontinued as apple does every year with the year old iPhone and storage is everything, yes I have 70GB free, but with the 4K video and improved camera I'm sure that's going to drop even lower - so go big or go home for me lol
I've had a 128gb iPhone since they were available. I have 46gb of Music and the more you stream- the more you pay over and over (in data on cellular) to hear your own music...
As long as they don't use bad memory chips like the early iPhone 6 plus units, this should be a great phone!

I had the iphone 6 128gig and I loved not having to worry about running out of space. This year I went with the iphone 6+ 64 gig because I never came close to using half of 128 gig. I also have cloud apps that can store photos if I need it. I stream almost all of my music and movies so I'm not worried about that.
