Weird actions by iPhone 6

My phone is on LTE right now and it wasn't moving very quickly so I powered the phone off and on. It turned off very quickly, which surprised me and then when I turned it on, and typed in my password, it popped up with a message that said message sent by SIM card. What????

Never had that one. Did you power it off or reboot it with both buttons?

No, just regular shut off.

Don't worry about it too much. It's seems to be the sim connecting with the network after a shutoff. Nothing horrible.
