My mom has a new 3GS and is not phone savvy at all. Her phone wasn't holding a charge at all. Unplug it a 7 for work then at her 1130 break would have 25% battery. So we go down there and the guy tries to say it's because her mail app was open but it doesn't fetch she manually checks for mail. So as he is running test it starts to freeze then about half the apps won't open.

So I look at him and say "don't think the mail app is causing all this".

He stopped the diagnostics and gave her a free phone.

i had a similar expirience
I have a ipod touch 3g 32gb which was bought in india
i went to poland, and there my ipod(along with a friends ipod touch) just stopped working. i sent it to the polish apple service center by DHL, and a week later we got 2 Refurbished ipod touches
in my experience so far, Great service

Excellent. Sometimes some of those geniuses think too highly of themselves and need to be brought back down to earth.
