I locked myself out of my iPad, never used iTunes! HELP! What can I do?

locked myself out of ipad, ever used iTunes! HELP!

I forgot my password, had many and now im locked out for 1hr before I can try again! I can get rid of all the stuff Ive got there as there is a video of my mum I lost 2 weeks ago, the only recording of her with voice... cant just delete it ( is there any other way, even if it means losing my ipad all together? plz help anyone!

Welcome to iMore! Unfortunately restoring your device is the only way to regain access to it. Hopefully you have a recent iCloud backup that includes your video.

With the exception of remembering the passcode, there is nothing that can be done except restore via iTunes. Period.
