Safari tabs - Another really annoying change in IOS8

When you have multiple tabs open and close one, it used to open the next one to the right; now it opens the one to the left.
This is extremely annoying when you are used to starting on the left as now it needs an extra click to get to each tab (unless you want to start with the last tab you opened on the right and go backwards).
If they are going to change things such as this they should at least give the user an option to change it to how it was.
Other browsers have this option.
Why on earth have they changed it anyway?

I don't know and I haven't upgraded my iPad Mini to see if it is the same with it. In the meantime, try to get used to it or use a different mobile browser....

I don't want to try to get used to it, I want it as it was.
Can you recommend another browser? Thanks.

Google Chrome, dolphin, Mercury, etc. Just type browser into the app store search.
