SMS Balloons

I have downloaded a few different sms balloons themes and when I check them in winterboard, nothing happens. I have an iPhone 4 with 4.3.1. Am I doing something wrong. I have downloaded new icons and they work fine along with if I activate a complete theme, I just want some different sms balloons.

Make sure the selected bubble theme is at the top of your winterboard list.
Winterboard applies your themes in order from that list.
Try respringing and even reboot your phone.

If you can go in and change some file names, I think you might need to update them for your iOS by adding ~iphone to the file name. See this video for an idea of what you might need to change. The originals will be in this area:
/System/Library/PrivateFrameworks/ChatKit.framework


I'm honestly not sure if this works for 4.3.1, but it's worth a try. Just remember to save a copy of the original if you're doing a direct replacement.
