Before deactivating my Twitter account, I used both. Having said that, if you follow more than you tweet, then use the official Twitter app, but if you actively post tweets on a consistent basis then I recommend the Tweetbot app.

Use twitter for certain, tweetbot is good but twitter significantly better. Smacktive is a great choice.

I use the Twitter app. Ive tried other apps but had some issues with sharing articles or other things from the web or other apps. Twitter app was the only one that worked flawless for me in all aspects.

Flyte is a good app and customizable, or just the regualer Twitter app.
