It has been awhile since I logged into iCloud through the browser, but today I noitced some new things. I am posting to see anyone can provide insight.

I have Pages, Keynote, and Numbers icons with the BETA ribbon. I can access all 3 and create items with each. I am not a Mac user nor did I ever purchase any of these pieces of software. So I am wondering if Apple is thinking of giving these 3 items for free through the web? Or is it simply for testing?

Thanks, missed that post. So I assume by Apple putting them within my signon, that was considered an invite?

If so, will this be free service to compete with SkyDrive and GDocs?

Yes & remains to be seen - but likely yes.

Sweet! If that's the case, all Apple needs is to add some storage options (besides just an iCloud backup) and they will dominate!
