Where is single page view on iBooks?

I

iMore Question

I can’t get my iBooks app to go to single page view since updating to iOS14. It just displays the split page view. Anyone know how to get it back to single page view or did apple remove that option?

(mod edit - changed 24 to 14)

I'm guessing that you meant iOS14 rather than iOS24! Also, are you using an iPhone or iPad?

I assume you meant iOS 14 and not iOS 24. With that being said, can you join the IMore Forums and then post a screenshot of what you’re seeing please? Thanks.

iPad or iPhone?

On my iPad in landscape I get split view:

On my iPad in portrait mode I get single page view:

My iPhone is single pave view regardless of orientation.

I also don't see a setting to change it.

That is precisely why I want the OP to join the forum and post a screenshot of his iPhone with the Books app in split view.....:)

As a matter of curiosity I tried this on my gen 5 iPad in portrait, and yes I get a twin column view. Single column on iPhone XS(either way !) to change on iPad I found that if you use San Francisco or New York, which are both bold fonts, you will get a single column/ page view, in portrait mode, but not in landscape.
