How do I restrict Google Plus from a child's phone?

How do I restrict google plus from a childs phone. I do not want secret chatting

Maybe I just need to know the app name -- could I set the restriction on the iphone with:
www.google plus.com ...or googleplus ? or what would keep a kid just using google..and not have the hidden chat / social media access?

maybe I need to put it into the router... the same way ?

You can go into the Restrictions settings and disable access to the App Store.

Well I have always said, if you don't trust your kid, don't give them a smartphone!
