Why do I have to spend 2 days trying to get my Fitbit to sync with my iPad Air 2 ?

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app ,turned the blue tooth off and on and restored the Fitbit and no joy ,turned the pad off and on again and still no joy , I think it's the biggest waist of £149 and I will be advising people to avoid by one ever ! .

I suggest you read the manual about pairing the Fitbit with an iOS device again. It's actually pretty simple.
