why do i have a grey bar appearing in my text box

Had a lengthy Apple update this morning and since then I have a grey bar covering my text box with the figures "0.00" appearing. How do I get rid of this please?

I don't know. I've never ever had that happen on any iPhone I've ever owned. Having said that, either restore the device and set it up as new or try resetting all settings.
