Package Dialing Codes are Not Working in My Cell

I have Iphone 5 ( which is jail brake and also using jeavy sim in it)
when I want to avail such an offer from any cellular Company
For example
To unsubscribe Daily Pakistan Offer, dial *8880#
But when I dial this into my Dialing Screen It starts Calling instead of Activating the Service
Help me if Someone Guide me
