What size memory should I get on my iphone 6?

I am going to be getting my first iphone(well first smartphone at all) I'm not sure what size memory to get. I'd probably use it alot and was thinking to get the 128 GB just to have the extra memory. I was told updates can take a bit of space. I'd rather go with more than not have enough. Is that completely crazy? Like I have no sense of what apps or other things use in terms of memory.

What size are you using now? 16 is too small in my opinion... the next choice is 64... that's what I have... had a 32 iPhone5, and it was nearly full... so 64 is fine for me...
