USB connection in car to play music no longer works with iPhone 3.0 OS

Hi all,

I recently updated my iPhone operating system to the 3.0 version and now when I hook up my iPhone to the USB connector in my car to play music it no longer works. I get the error message, "unsupported version." Does anyone know how I can correct this?

It's a beta OS. Lots of stuff won't work from time to time and build to build.

Try rebooting the phone.

I've heard from devs who have to reboot it almost every time they plug it into an audio system.

That's why it's Beta.
