Question: Can I run iTunes on my PC AND Laptop?

I generally plug my iPhone 3G into my PC every night for recharging, updating of aps, podcasts, etc.

I tried installing iTunes on my laptop once, and thought that when I logged in, it would be no different than accessing from my PC. But it wasn't - none of my music was there, apps I've downloaded, etc. It's like iTunes will only run in one location.

What am I doing wrong? I want to be able to upgrade to the 3.0 OS while I'm on vacation next week using my laptop.

You need to redownload all your song on the other computer or tranfer purchases. search the google.

The iPhone syncs with one iTunes media library and one only, it doesn't work like iPods.
