No 3G and phone app non-functional

I live in New Hampshire and my carrier is Sprint. 3G hasn't been working in areas that it usually does and all phone calls fail even though I have several bars. WiFi is ok but not as good as usual. I called the local Sprint branch and they said I was the 5th iPhone user who called today with these issues. Non-iPhone users are ok.

I called Apple and they know nothing about this. Anyone else experiencing this?
