My iPad Air has a tiny "beep" sound. Very low, not sounding like any kind of notification. Any ideas? Kinda reminds me of low battery warning, but battery is not low.

Hi and welcome to iMore.

Does the beep happen at any particular time or when a certain function is enabled or when a notification from something comes in?

Check your Notification Centre in the Settings Panel and see if one app has a sound notification set in the Reminder Alerts option.

If you know anyone else with an iPad Air, try to detect the same 'beep' sound. Second, I would make a Genius Bar appointment with the nearest Apple store and have them look at it. If they find that it is not normal, more than likely, you will be given another one.

I had the same thing happen to me. This was preceded by my ipad burning hot the other day and draining a full battery.

I’ve had the beeping today but as soon as I remove the Smart Cover it has stopped. I think that was the cause of the battery draining and also the beeping
