muted and deleted iphone conversation

so i had muted an iphone conversation, but then accidentally deleted the whole conversation all together. if my contact tries to text me will the conversation still be muted?/ how do you unmute if the conversation is deleted?

have them text you, then you can turn off do not disturb, under edit on the new conversation. or you text them. start a new conversation.
