Is Do Not Disturb fixed in the new iOS

For those of you testing iOS 10..... one of the major shortcomings of Do Not Disturb is that I can set up a 'special group' that can ring my phone when it is set to DND ... BUT ... that rule doesn't apply to iMessage. So some engineer thought it was OK to allow calls from my wife, but block her text messages!

Additionally, it would be nice to have settings for different times of the day, say 8-5 for work and 5-8 and a different set of rules for the weekend.

DND will only allow Phone calls that you setup. Everything else is silent, I wouldn't say they have not fixed it. They don't think it's broke.
