iPhone 6 stolen ,deactivate

iPhone 6 stolen ,I have used find my iPhone and got a message that all data will be erased after connection to wifi,until now i got no message that this occurred.Is it possible to completely desactivate the phone with my serial number only?

If I remember correctly Find my iPhone can remote-lock the phone, prevent reactivation on a new account, and leave a persistent message on screen. The phone is effectively useless but there is no function to completely kill the phone.

Depending where in the world you are and which cellular network is providing service, you might be able to have the phone blacklisted by IMEI so it can never be used again. Contact your cellular network for information about how they can help. However the blacklists tend to be national or regional, so a phone blocked in USA might still work in Europe, and vice versa.
