Iphone 5 Replacement screen

Hi there,
I would like to replace my Iphone 5's cracked screen but the issue is I am in South Africa and I want to buy the replacement screen in USA would the screen work as per normal seeing that its just the display that is changing. Sorry it might sound as a dumb question but I am just thinking this as we use different mobile networks as so forth.
Need some help please.

You can use any iPhone 5 screen as you wish. Just make sure you have it installed by qualified people.
