Is it possible that it is the way is is designed to look in iOS 7? I don't use Facebook so I'm just asking.

Hi, I don't have the bottom bar either....neither do my co-workers and friends. I submitted a bug report.. It's strange because their app store description states the bar should be on the bottom.

I was just looking at the facebook app on the app store. In the update description for version 6.5 it says "tap the bottom of your screen to quickly get to your messages, notifications and more...."

I haven't installed it yet though, not on wifi now.

I'm running iOS 7.0.2 on my 4S. I updated to Facebook 6.6 last night. Facebook is working great. What happens when you press the home button?

When i open Facebook again, the bottom bar disappears and the design changes.

It looks like this:

The bar is there on my iPhone 4 running iOS7.0.2 & Facebook 6.6. Are you on a 5,5C, or 5S? You can always delete then reinstall Facebook and see what happens. When I upgraded to iOS7 I had to seek help from the forum to optimize the phones performance and usability, this meant a complete reset of the phone. The easiest thing to do is completely power down the phone and see if it resets correctly on startup.
