After more than 15 years covering everything Apple, it’s with a heavy heart we announce that we will no longer be publishing new content on iMore and the iMore forums will be closing as of November 1st, 2024.
I have installed it 10 minutes ago. So far, so good.Have you installed this, is it running well?

I had 2 issues with iOS 18.0 series and I’m not in a situation to reproduce them. One is with the CarPlay HUD integration cutting the direction at 13 characters (will test next time I’m in my car) and the other is Now Playing crashing (this one is random and takes time).
Also, I will note that Apple Intelligence is obviously not available to me as a Canadian

I tested with both and I reset it as well. With CarPlay is it a wired or wireless connection? My XT4 is wireless, not seeing any issues.
And it worked perfectly last nightWhat I noticed with iOS 18.1 is that my watchOS 10 no longer reports its status to the iPhone.
For instance, the alarm clock rang on my phone and my watch, instead of only on the watch, while wearing it.
One thing I've noticed with 18.1 since the public beta start, and having upgraded to the new AI Siri for the last few weeks is that carplay on a 2023 Nissan Rogue she's very buggy in reading/creating new text messages. She'll cut off in the middle of asking you to dictate the message, and then cuts off trying to read it back. Though it seems to still work, and the Siri border is lit up as expected. Happens both wired and wireless. It was doing it as of the RC last week, but I have not tested since yesterday's official release when those of us on the RC beta got a small update (usually in the past RC betas haven't typically gotten an update on launch day I think). Could just be a Nissan issue as well, it's a new system for 2023 and it seems like it's been buggy even before 18.0 or 18.1 and AI stuff.
